Rocky Mountain National Park Visitor's Guide

Dreamweaver, Mt. Meeker

Dreamweaver, Mt. Meeker, III, 5.6, Steep Snow/Ice: The great north face of Mt. Meeker is divided by a prominent rib known as the Flying Buttress (III, 5.9), an excellent rock climb in its own right. Dreamweaver follows the thin couloir left of the buttress, then continues above the buttress with the couloir narrowing to three feet and reaching an angle of 55%. When in good condition (try May or early June), this is one of the best mountaineering routes in the Park.
