Mammoth Basin
Mammoth Basin, FDR 176 / Mammoth Gulch Road, County Road 4N is a network of roads from difficult 4WD roads to rough 2WD roads.. Popular road for mountain biking.
Take CO 119 south from Nederland to Rollinsville, then go west on County Road 16 (Moffat or Rollins Pass Road) to Tolland. Go south of of Tolland on County Road 4N (Mammoth Gulch Rd.) 1.5 miles to FDR 176, then west on FDR 176. The area is also accessible from the south via County Road 4 (Apex Road), from CO 119 near Clear Falls, two miles north of Blackhawk.
